Get involved

There are many ways to connect, serve, learn, and grow at Jordan Lutheran Church. We encourage you to find areas of interest that best suit you. The bulletin and online calendar offer upcoming events each week.

  • Jordan juniors

Each week children are invited to join in Bible classes as they learn about God's activity in the world. Pastor encourages all young children down for a children's message each Sunday. We believe it is important for families to worship as a family and see the power of generations united together each week. Other activities and special events occur throughout the year.

  • Youth

Those in 6th - 12th grade are welcome to regular events held for youth at Jordan. The group gathers for monthly First Sunday evening events sharing a meal, Bible study and time to relax. Each summer Jordan's youth are invited to participate in a week long service event held at Camp Linn Haven in western North Carolina. We are richly blessed by college students and young adults who attend to encourage those growing in the faith.

  • Adults

Each week Pastor holds a Bible class geared for adults. During the week there are additional studies and gathering offered to put our faith into action. Jordan seeks to empower those in our congregation to recognize the need to walk as a community of faith valuing opportunities to gather and share life together.

  • Music

Jordan offers many ways for people to share musical talents throughout the year. Vocalists, choral groups for children and adults, an instrumental team and individual musicians each offer their gifts to honor and praise the God we serve throughout the year.

  • Shelter Helpers

Shelter Helpers serves those who are not able to make simple home repairs locally as well as responding to natural disasters such as hurricanes or floods. Partnering with congregations through LERT (Lutheran Early Response Teams) Jordan is able to engage with a larger national network when a crisis strikes.

  • Stephen Ministry

Jordan Lutheran is a Stephen Ministry congregation which provides trained lay leaders who have undergone an extensive training process to bring Christ centered care to those in need of one on one support following a time of great trial in their life.   What Exactly is a Stephen Minister?

If this is will be your first time joining us, we would love to hear from you!

Please contact Pastor Mike with any questions you may have beforehand.
