Our 12% tithe and offering currently offers quarterly financial support to our missionary family and the Seminary in the Dominican Republic. Funds also foster the development of future pastors and missionaries at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. and Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Ind.

Our love of neighbor extends to those faced with great challenges following a disaster or crisis. A portion of our tithe and offerings are earmarked toward Lutheran World Relief for international disaster response and sustainable development work and LCMS Disaster Response for a national crisis. Support is given annually to ensure those agencies are ready to respond at any hour.

Jordan also supports the corporate efforts of the Southeastern District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (www.se.lcms.org). There are over 200 congregations in our region that work to proclaim the active presence of God in this world. To help provide support for the launch of new churches 1% of our weekly offering is set aside for future mission churches. Jordan received similar support from area congregations and we are committed to providing resources to new church starts. Our congregation understands the importance of living out the meaning of being a Synod, a term that means “walking together”. We have been blessed by the support of God’s people over the years and are eager to see where the LORD will lead us in the future.
