Project Updates - Monthly Devotion
Jordan is walking daily toward a new ministry. Every month this year we will study the solid foundation our Lord shares instructing us on how we live, work and play. Click on the monthly devotion to see what God has in store for us and how you can become more involved.
Together we live out our Ten Year Blueprint goals to: Know Christ, Grow in Christ, Serve Christ and Go for Christ. Each monthly devotion offers ways to connect in each ministry area. A church that seeks to construct a building must begin by first investing in the people God has called together nourished on the preaching of God's Word, washed in the waters of baptism and fed at the Lord's Table.

Learning from our 10 Year Rental Experience
Since 2009, Jordan Lutheran Church has held worship services in Apex, North Carolina at Beaver Creek Cinemas. As we embraced God’s Word, our Sunday School classes, music groups and activities expanded. Yet in our rental agreements, the theater limits Sunday access from 7 a.m. to noon. Sunday education at the theater is constrained by setting up weekly in a hallway and theater. Our rented office space has sound ordinances and limited size allowances which hamper engagements during the week. In order for Jordan to continue to provide growing ministry opportunities, new facility options for Sunday and weekly assembly were pursued in our area.
Support the Breaking Ground Campaign
Over the next three years, Jordan will grow into our new ministry footprint with a three part campaign: Breaking Ground (2020), Breaking Bread (2021) and Breaking Free (2022). In the fall of 2019, Jordan received Minor Site Plan approval from the town of Apex to proceed with our construction plans. The rich blessings of the Lord have brought us to this moment in our congregation history.
"The people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a whole heart they had offered freely to the Lord." (1 Chronicles 29:9)
